Automated assembly line
for oil supply assemblies

The automated assembly line for oil-supply-unit in automatic transmissions combines fully automated, semi-automated, and manual stations within a modular system concept. Three main assembly variants are produced via two linked assembly lines with an automatic transfer station.

The system is designed as a dual-line assembly solution with specialized workpiece carriers, integrated buffer sections, and transfer robots. Automatic transfer between the lines, along with an unloading gantry featuring blister-compliant palletizing, ensures smooth material flow.

Type-dependent changeover capability, intelligent feeding systems, and seamless traceability via laser marking, DMC scanning, and RFID provide maximum transparency throughout the entire production process.

Key manufacturing steps, such as force- and displacement-monitored press-fitting and riveting, torque- and angle-controlled tightening-process, as well as sensor- and camera-based inspection of O-rings and sealing elements, ensure a high level of process reliability. Additional processes, including leak testing, functional testing, stagnation pressure testing, and 3D measurement, complete the system, resulting in a high-performance, modular assembly solution for series production with demanding quality requirements.
