Automated production line
for 3D bags

This fully automated production line was developed for the production of 3D bags with volumes ranging from 100 to 1,000 liters. It processes up to twelve bag variants with minimal setup-time. Autonomous workpiece carriers, modular process stations, and camera-based quality control ensure consistently high product quality and full traceability of all process data.

With a total of 21 automated stations, the system integrates cutting, welding, and testing processes into a continuous, precise, and reproducible production sequence. Automatic type changeover minimizes downtime, while camera-based measurement and seam inspection ensure maximum dimensional accuracy.

The line has been completed with the automated welding of connection fittings into the still-open 3D bags. Up to three connection components are precisely mounted and reliably integrated. Combined cutting and welding processes ensure high reproducibility, while camera-based measurement of the 3D bags and optical inspection of the weld seams guarantee consistently high quality.

The line is designed for continuous industrial operation and maximum system availability – for efficient, flexible, and process-reliable 3D bag production at the highest level.
