Semi-automatic welding system
for filter cartridges

WOLL’s semi-automatic welding system is designed for reliable and repeatable assembly of filter elements and plastic end caps. Combining manual handling with a fully monitored joining process, it provides an ideal entry point into automated series production.

The welding process is based on infrared-assisted heating with a precisely controlled melt depth. The joint is subsequently formed under continuous force–displacement monitoring.

The system concept features a modular design and can be adapted to different filter cartridge types, geometries, and throughput requirements. It can be expanded to full automation at a later stage.
