The characteristic-map-controlled cooling system regulates the cooling circuit within the combustion engine. It comprises numerous functional individual components that are assembled and tested inline on this final assembly line.
The final assembly line is designed as a highly automated powertrain assembly solution, enabling precise assembly and inline testing of numerous functional components. The system ensures flexible and efficient assembly of the complex module while maintaining stable OEE, achieved through a parallel line concept with two independently operating final assembly lines.
Production is organized via two transport circuits. Circuit A covers the main assembly processes, including joining, press-fitting, sealing, and bonding, while circuit B serves as a subsystem for assembling central modules. Automated workpiece carrier handling and controlled component transfer ensure continuous and stable material flow, with both lines merging in the final packaging area. This approach enables manageable cycle times at each process step while ensuring high system availability and consistent output.
